Join us for a weekend of authentic German cuisine, music, dancing, and thrilling competitions at Germanfest in Muenster, Texas! Whether you're here for the bratwurst, steins of cold beer, or the excitement of Tug of War, wiener dog races, and stein hoisting, there’s something for everyone. Prost!

We have a fun family atmosphere with plenty of activities for the entire family. The events include our 5K Germanfest Fun Run and Metric Century Bike Rally for fitness enthusiasts. Teams also gather for a fun cooking competition with a brisket, ribs, sausage, chicken, beans cook-off for a $5,000 payout.

We also have many vendors set up throughout the park along with loads of arts and crafts, and live music throughout the day!

For nearly five decades, the Muenster Chamber of Commerce organized Germanfest. However, beginning in 2025, the event will be hosted by a coalition of local community organizations, including the Muenster Jaycees, Muenster Volunteer Fire Department, Sacred Heart Alumni, Knights of Columbus, Muenster Kiwanis, Muenster Merchants, and Heritage Park.

While the leadership has changed, the tradition continues - with the same lively music, food, beer, and family-friendly fun that has made Germanfest a North Texas favorite for decades!
